  • Los Angeles Lakers
    Los Angeles, California based professional basketball team named Los Angeles Lakers was founded in 1946. The Lakers are currently a member of the Pacific Division of Western Conference in the National Basketball Association. The Staples Center is the home of the Los Angeles Lakers.

    Phil Jackson is the current head coach of the team. Under his tenure, the Los Angeles Lakers became the 2000-2002 NBA champions and the 2004 Western Conference Champions. Since 1946, the team has won fourteen Championships, twenty eight Conference titles, and twenty six Division titles.

    In 2005-06 regular season the Lakers made a record of 45-37. In 2007, the Lakers defeated the Sacramento Kings and the Dallas Mavericks. The Lakers fan base includes many famous actors and musicians including Dyan Cannon, Jack Nicholson, Denzel Washington, Sylvester Stallone and many more who are regularly seen at home games. The team wears uniforms of colors: Purple, Gold and White.

  • Los Angeles Dodgers
    A Major League Baseball team, Los Angeles Dodgers is based in Los Angeles, California. Earlier the team was known as Brooklyn Dodgers as it was based in Brooklyn until majority ownership of the club passed to real estate businessman Walter O’Malley who moved the Dodgers to California in 1957. The team was renamed as Los Angeles Dodgers from Brooklyn Dodgers.

    The team are currently the member of the Western Division of the National League. The Los Angeles baseball team made it up for its fans by winning the national pennant from 1963-65, and even winning the World Series in 1965 with a record of 97-65 against the Minnesota Twins. In the 70’s, the Dodgers was able to secure three National League Pennants, three World Series appearances, and 910 victories in that decade.

    During 80’s the team achieved a victory in 825 games. The Lakers also win two World Championships, one in 1981 and the other in 1988. The Dodgers also secured four National League division titles in 1981, 1983, 1985, and 1988. In 2001, the Lakers won 86 games and in 2002 the team 92 won games. In 2004, ownership of the Los Angeles Dodgers was transferred to Boston real estate developer, Frank McCourt. In 2004, the Lakers won 93 games and the National League West Division title.

  • Los Angeles Kings
    Los Angeles, California based professional ice hockey team named Los Angeles Kings was founded in 1967. The Kings are currently the member of the Pacific division of the Western Division in the National Hockey League (NHL). The Staples Center is the home of the Los Angeles Kings. Marc Crawford is the current head coach of the team.

    In the 1990-91 season, the Kings made a 46-24-10 record. Robitaille would go on to retire at the end of the 2005-06 season as the highest-scoring left winger in National Hockey League history. The Kings' 2004-05 NHL season was lost due to labor strife between the NHL and the NHL Players' Association. Since 1967, the Kings have won one Conference Championship and one Division Championships.

    In 1996-97, without Wayne Gretzky the Kings would continue to struggle as they finished in 6th place with a miserable record of 28-43-11 record. On April 21, 2006, the Los Angeles Kings signed Philadelphia Flyers scout and former San Jose Sharks general manager Dean Lombardi as their new President and General Manager. The team wears uniforms of colors: Purple, Silver, and Black.

  • Los Angeles Avengers
    A professional football team, Los Angeles Avengers is based in Los Angeles, California. The team was founded in 2000 and currently is the member of Western Division of American Conference. Staples Center is the home of the Los Angeles Avengers. Staples Center is also the home of  the Los Angeles Kings, the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers.

    Since 2000, the Los Angeles Avengers have won American Conference wildcard playoff berths in 2002, 2003, and 2004, and also won the American Conference Western Division Championship in 2005. Los Angeles Avengers became the 18th team to play Arena Football League. The Avengers made their beginning by playing for the 13th season of Arena Football League. The Avengers won their division in 2005 with the record of 10-6. Casey Wasserman is the owner of the Avengers franchise.
